Yakima SkinnyWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket Review - 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima SkinnyWarrior on top of our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. Now in general a cargo basket is a great way to carry extra gear whether it doesn't fit in the vehicle or try to make more space in the vehicle by getting some of that cargo out of the inside and put it up top or on the back in the hitch, whatever it might be. A roof mounted carrier is a great option if you already have something in the hitch, maybe a trailer or a camper, or maybe you've got a bike rack back there and you need some space for everyone's stuff, especially if you have the third row seats up in the Tahoe. That back cargo area is pretty small and if you've got the car full of people all those people have stuff, it needs a place to go. more

Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket Review - 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima OffGrid on top of our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. Regardless of what cargo basket you're going for, it's a great way to carry some extra gear with you, especially with the Tahoe, if you have that third row seats up, your cargo space in the back isn't very large, and if you've got the vehicle fully packed with people, chances are if you're going on a trip or something like that, they're gonna have a lot of stuff, and you need somewhere for that to go. You could always go for a hitch-mounted cargo carrier, but maybe you've got a bike rack in there or maybe another hitch-mounted accessory like a ball mount for a camper. The next best place to put your stuff is up on the roof. Now, a lot of people like to go with an enclosed rooftop box, but a basket's really nice, because if you have anything that's messy or dirty, it's not going to get trapped inside, it can kinda drain out through the bottom of the bars, and we have the ability to carry some bulkier or oversized things that might not fit in a box with the lid closed. more

What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the, etrailer XL roof mounted cargo basket, on our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. Our etrailer basket is going to be a great way for you guys to get all that stuff out of the inside of your Tahoe, up and outside, and on top of this basket here. This is just going to open up a lot more room and space for whoever you may be driving along with. The longer the trip, the more space I need to be nice and comfortable.So I'm pretty sure the kiddos will agree with me when I say that. So to keep the kiddos nice and quiet and peaceful on the ride to wherever you guys are going, getting everything out and up onto the baskets, is going to be essential for having just a nice smooth ride. more

Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer.Today, we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer rooftop cargo basket. So this is going to be a great way to get a lot of that cargo that's on the inside of your guys's Tahoe up and out, so it's going to give everybody a lot more room.As of right now, the room that we have inside the cargo carrier is going to be about 55in x 31-3/8in and these rails are going to sit about 9 inches tall. It's going to fit on a lot of other bars that you guys have even if you do have the OEM factory roof rack system with your guys's Tahoe. The cool thing about this product compared to all the other ones is we actually have options when it comes to size. We can actually add an insert sold separately, and that's going to add about 12 inches of length to the basket, which I really like that just because we have those kind of options. If we don't have a whole lot of stuff, and we really don't want this big, old thing up on top of our Tahoe, we can actually remove this, of course, and then that will take away about 12 inches of storage.One thing I like to do in putting these baskets up on the roof is offsetting them to one side. more

This is going to be a great way to get a lot of that stuff on the inside of your Tahoe, up and out and onto the basket. That's just going to free up a lot of space for whoever you guys are taking on the trip with you. The longer the trip, the more space I need to be comfortable. So I'm pretty sure you guys are probably the same, the more space the better. more

Hi, everybody, Adam, with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer XXL cargo basket on our 2013 Chevy Tahoe. So this cargo carrier is going to measure about 80 inches long by 35 inches wide. And these rails on the side are going to stick up about eight inches. And you did hear me right, it is 80 inches long. This is an extremely big cargo carrier, but we have a relatively bigger car so we have a lot of passengers. more

Curt Roof Basket Review - 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Curt roof mounted cargo basket on our 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe. So this is going to be a great addition to your vehicle because it's going to get all of that cargo out of the inside of your cab and make more room for your passengers. I know a lot of times when I go on vacation to more room inside my car, the better. It just keeps everybody a lot more comfortable on the long trips you may be taking.So this cargo basket is going to measure about 41 and a half inches long by 37 inches wide, and it is going to sit up about four inches. So you'll be able to fit a decent amount of cargo in here. more

Thule Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon Rooftop Mounted Cargo Basket. It's going to be part number TH859. This basket is going to be 49 inches long, 40 inches wide, have a depth of six inches, and with its sturdy steel construction is going to have 150 pound weight capacity. As you can see, we do have it up on our top of our Thule Arrow Blade Roof Rack System, and I have the 2 feet in front as well as one in the back in place. We're going to show you how to place that last one on on this back corner passenger side here. First thing you'll want to do is take you U shape bolt, placing 2 washers on and just starting your 2 wing nuts like so. Place one washer underneath of each wing nut and slide it underneath of your bar, bringing it up on top of the plate, and sliding it into place. more

SportRack Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we're going to be doing a test fit of the SportRack Vista Cargo Carrier. This is going to be part number SR9035. This cargo carrier is going to be 44" long, 39 1/8" wide, have a depth of 6". With its sturdy steel construction it's going to offer a 110 pound weight capacity. As you can see we've already got a few of the feet in place, two on the passenger side and one on the driver side. We're going to show you how to place on the last one, since they all go on the same way. more

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Cargo Basket Review - 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevy Tahoe, we'll be test fitting the Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket, part number Y07070. Now, our vehicle is equipped with a factory roof rack system. To begin our test fit, we'll set the cargo basket onto the vehicle's crossbars. We'll make sure to center it onto the vehicle. We'll bring the brackets around the underside of the crossbars. Slide the bolt into the bracket and use the wing nuts to tighten down the brackets to secure the carrier to the vehicle. more
